Nicholas McKinnon
Origin: CANADA, Vancouver
From the Hidalgo Academy to the prestigious ELON University in NCAA D1 After just one year at the Academy, Nicholas signed with IFA New England in MLS Next (U19 nationals) as a central defender. He continued his career in the USA, becoming captain of Mountain United FC and later Intercontinental FA in 2022-2023, with whom he won the 2023 IMG Cup.

Matthew
Origin : USA, Kansas City
From the Hidalgo Academy to MLS NEXT U19 Matthew from the US joined the Hidalgo Academy in August 2021. After trials, he signed with FC Mougins for the regional championship. In May 2022, through Hidalgo Academy’s partnership with IFA New England (Boston), he advanced to MLS Next (U19 nationals).

Khodja Kacem
Origin: ALGERIA, Oran
From the Hidalgo Academy to the Algerian U20 national team Kacem spent 18 months at the Academy, playing for FC Mougins and US Mandelieu in the U17R and U18R teams. He then joined the elite ranks of Algerian football, returning to his beloved MC Oran in the U19 national championship. Thanks to his training and experience at the Academy, Kacem was called up by the U19 national team managers. In his initial matches, he also began training with MC Oran’s professional team, showcasing his rapid development and promising talent.

Abdallah Wasfi Bashammakh

From Hidalgo Academy to UAE Division 1 Abdallah Wasfi Bashammakh progressed from the Michel Hidalgo Academy to the UAE Division 1. He currently plays for Gulf United F.C., where he competes against football legends such as Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté.

Edmond Lupancu
Origin: AUSTRALIA, Melbourne
From Hidalgo Academy to Australian Ligue 1 Edmond, characterized by his strong determination and commanding presence on the field, was offered trials at Montpellier by the Academy. His sole aim is to become professional. After returning to his homeland, he steadily climbed the ranks, eventually joining the first team of Melbourne Victoria in Ligue 1, and later West Sydney.
